Scope and a short summary

Ocean Barque (“Ocean Barque,” “we,” or “us”) operates Color Ring Puzzle (the “App”), Android package com.OceanBarque.ColorRingPuzzle. The App may carry an Everyone / PEGI 3 content rating, but its declared Google Play target audience is adults aged 18 and older.

The App is primarily a local puzzle game. We do not operate a user account system or our own server database for the App. Ocean Barque does not sell personal data for money. A small amount of game preference and progress information is stored on the device, while optional Google services may process information under their own policies.

Quick reviewer view. The App is not directed to children. Its declared Google Play target audience is adults aged 18 and older, while Google Play’s optional control that blocks users Google determines are minors is not enabled. The App does not display an in-App consent form or privacy-choice interface. Before advertising is initialized, the App refreshes Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent information. When UMP reports that ads may be requested, normal Google ad requests may be made; otherwise the App sends Google’s limited-ads signal and requests limited ads. If the UMP update fails, the App also uses limited ads. The App remains playable if ads are unavailable.

Age and minors

Color Ring Puzzle is not directed to children. Its declared Google Play target audience is adults aged 18 and older. Google Play’s separate optional control that restricts users Google determines are minors is not enabled for this listing, so the setting itself does not guarantee that every minor is technically prevented from accessing the App. The App does not ask users to submit a name or birth date to Ocean Barque.

We ask people under 18 not to use the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided information through the App, contact us so we can review and, where applicable, help delete information within our control. Information processed by Google’s advertising or consent services must also be managed through the relevant Google controls.

The App’s Everyone / PEGI 3 content rating describes the maturity of its puzzle content; it does not change the declared adult target audience. We address COPPA and other children’s privacy obligations where applicable. The current formal version is not a child-directed Families product and does not provide a child account, age profile, or in-App age selector.

Data Safety / collection disclosure

The Google Play Data safety disclosure and this policy must match the build distributed to users. The following describes the collection and sharing for the formal release.

Information categories, purposes, and user controls
Category / source What may be processed Purpose and control
On-device game data Score, tutorial progress, trash-can uses, sound and music selections, and rating flag saved in Android PlayerPrefs. Run and remember the game. Clear App data or uninstall to remove it.
Advertising and consent services Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and UMP may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, ad interaction information, and consent status. Serve, measure, protect, and configure ads for the adult audience. UMP consent information is refreshed before advertising is initialized. The resulting signal determines whether the App makes a normal Google ad request or explicitly requests limited ads.
Google Play Games Services (optional) If the user chooses to sign in or use a leaderboard, Google may process a player ID, display name, authentication status, scores, and related Google Play Games account or service information. Optional sign-in and score submission to a leaderboard. Google’s policies and controls govern this service; users can manage its data through Google Play Games and their Google Account.
User-directed sharing Only the text the user selects to share is handed to Android’s share sheet and the app the user chooses. Share occurs only after the user invokes it. The chosen recipient’s own policy then applies.
Services not enabled in this release The App does not include in-app purchases or subscriptions, Crashlytics or another crash-reporting SDK, or push/local notifications. These services do not collect data for this release. If a future version adds one, the relevant Play disclosures and this policy will be updated before distribution.
Privacy-policy website Cloudflare may process IP address, HTTP request metadata, and security or delivery diagnostics when this page is requested. The page itself stores only an optional color-ring-theme light/dark preference in browser local storage. Deliver and secure this policy page and remember the reader’s display choice. The page has no advertising, analytics, forms, or third-party media; browser site-data controls can remove the theme preference.

Not part of the current formal version: the App does not include in-app purchases or subscriptions, Crashlytics or another crash-reporting SDK, or push/local notifications. No separate product analytics service is enabled by Ocean Barque. If any of these services are added later, the policy and relevant Google Play disclosures will be updated before the changed version is distributed.

Sharing and platform services

Google Play Games Services

If the user chooses Google Play Games sign-in or a leaderboard action, Google Play Games Services may process a player ID, display name, authentication status, scores, and related account or service information. The service is optional and is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy. Ocean Barque does not receive or maintain a separate copy of a user’s Google password.

Android share sheet

When the user actively chooses Share, the App passes only the user-selected message text to Android’s share sheet and the application the user selects. The recipient application may collect or retain that content under its own terms. The App does not silently send share content.

Rating

When the user chooses the rating button, the App opens the Google Play Store listing and records a local Rated preference so the App can remember that action. The App does not separately collect or send a rating, review, name, or account information to Ocean Barque. Google may process a review or account activity under Google’s own policies.

Services not enabled

The current formal version does not send push or local notifications. It also has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, Crashlytics, or other crash-reporting SDK. These exclusions do not prevent Android or Google from applying its own operating-system or account policies to a user-initiated platform action.

Data Retention and Deletion

On-device PlayerPrefs remain on the device until the user clears the App’s data or uninstalls Color Ring Puzzle. Clearing data resets progress, tutorial state, trash-can uses, sound/music choices, and the rating flag.

Google Mobile Ads, UMP, and Google Play Games data may be retained by Google for the periods and purposes described in Google’s applicable policies and controls. Ocean Barque has no separate account database or server database for this App. A deletion request sent to us cannot by itself erase data held by Google’s advertising, consent, or Play Games services; use the relevant Google controls as well.

We handle privacy requests within the time required by applicable law. Timing may depend on the request, identity or parental-authority verification, legal exceptions, and the information needed to respond. We retain only what is needed to handle a request, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or establish and defend legal claims.

How to delete data

To clear the local game data and reset the App:

Android path: Settings > Apps > Color Ring Puzzle > Storage > Clear data, or uninstall the App.

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Choose Apps, then Color Ring Puzzle.
  3. Open Storage and choose Clear data (wording can vary by Android version), or uninstall the App.

To manage Google advertising settings, use the controls provided by Google or Android. To manage or remove Google Play Games data, use the controls in Google Play Games and your Google Account. To ask Ocean Barque about personal data, email tao.brandnew@gmail.com with the subject Color Ring Puzzle Privacy Request. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Privacy rights and legal bases

Where applicable to the user, the App, and the processing, privacy laws may include the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR, UK GDPR and ePrivacy rules, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, other U.S. state privacy laws, Brazil’s LGPD, and similar laws. The rights and exceptions depend on the relevant law and context.

Where applicable, you may ask us to access, delete, correct, or provide information about personal data; withdraw consent; object to or limit processing; opt out of certain targeted advertising or sale/sharing concepts; and receive non-discriminatory service. Parents or guardians may exercise applicable rights for a child. You may also complain to the data-protection or privacy regulator in your country, state, or region. We may need to verify identity or parental authority before acting.

Our possible legal bases, where a law requires a basis, are consent (including advertising consent), performance of a contract or requested service, legitimate interests such as security and basic product operation, and legal obligations. The appropriate basis depends on the particular processing and jurisdiction. You can contact us to ask which basis applies to a request.

Ocean Barque does not sell personal data for money. Some privacy laws may treat disclosures used for personalized advertising as “sharing” or targeted advertising; adult users can manage relevant Google advertising settings through Google or Android controls. When the available signals do not allow a normal ad request, the App requests limited ads. We do not use the App to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about users.

Security, third parties, and international transfers

We use practical administrative and technical measures appropriate to the small, local nature of the App. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that a network, device, operating system, or third-party service will never have an error or security incident. If we learn of a legally reportable incident, we will follow applicable notice requirements.

Google is a third-party processing provider for Mobile Ads, UMP, and Google Play Games Services. Cloudflare delivers and protects this policy website. Android, the selected share recipient, and any other service the user deliberately invokes may process information under their own policies. These parties may process or store information in countries other than where the user lives. Where required, we rely on applicable transfer mechanisms or safeguards and provide information through the relevant provider’s policy. We do not invent a fixed transfer location or promise a particular hosting region.

Useful provider links include How Google uses information from apps and sites and Google Play Terms of Service. The provider’s policy, not this page, governs its own processing.
